Faith Formation Support Staff – Part-Time

The Church of the Holy Eucharist, in Tabernacle, NJ has an opening for a part-time Faith Formation Support staff.  This hourly, part-time position reports to the Pastor and Director of Faith Formation. This position is 20 hours per week Monday through Friday. This individual will be required to work weekend hours once a month for the family Faith Formation program called LIFT, with occasional weekday evening meetings and Saturday morning Sacramental prep sessions. The Faith Formation Support staff member performs all aspects of record keeping and correspondence and provides support for the Faith Formation program. 
 
This individual will provide clerical support to the Faith Formation Team (Director of Faith Formation and the Coordinator of Youth Ministry); prepare and update email lists for families and distribute email, text and paper communications to families; manage and process Faith Formation registrations; assist the Director of Faith Formation at LIFT sessions, and Sacramental Prep meetings; coordinate Check in Ministry volunteers on LIFT weekends; verify Confirmation, Reconciliation and First Communion information, update data system and notify parish of Baptism of sacraments received here at Holy Eucharist. They will also attend parish staff meetings as well as educational workshops, conferences or training.
 
 The successful candidate will need to have excellent oral and written communication, organizational and personal interaction skills in a church environment; and be proficient with MS Word, Publisher, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of Parish Soft Database system and Constant Contact is a plus. This position requires that the applicant pass a background check and be a practicing Roman Catholic with sound and mature spirituality. This is an hourly, part-time position that offers paid time off benefits, but is not eligible for medical benefits. The salary offered will be based on experience and skills and will be $16.25 per hour.
