St. Catharine Preschool, in Holmdel, New Jersey, is seeking a joyful and inspiring Preschool Teacher to support the Catholic faith and academic excellence of our preschool working with children ages 2.5 to 5 years. Knowledge of Reggio Emilia and early childhood experience is recommended.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree required
- Successful background check and fingerprinting required before employment
- Schedule: 20-25 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Have attended or be willing to attend a Virtus Protecting God's Children training
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with or training in the Reggio Emilia Approach to Early Childhood Education
- The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing, faith-based learning environment that supports the spiritual, academic, and social development of our youngest learners
- Provide engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction following school curriculum guidelines
- Maintain a positive, structured, and caring classroom environment
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and parents to support student learning and well-being
- Creating a nurturing, structured, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
- Supporting the spiritual, emotional, social, and cognitive development of young children
- Fostering curiosity, independence, wonder, and joy
- Thoughtfully integrating Catholic values into daily instruction and classroom life
- Salary Range $20-$22 per hour.
