In observance of the Solemnity of St. Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., shares a warm greeting with the faithful of the Diocese of Trenton. Celebrated each year on March 19, this feast honors St. Joseph, the faithful guardian of the Holy Family and patron of the universal Church. On this day, special acknowledgment is given to the parishes and worship sites of the Diocese of Trenton that bear the name of St. Joseph and celebrate their patronal feast: St. Joseph Parish, Trenton; St. Joseph Parish and School, Toms River; St. Joseph Parish, Millstone; St. Joseph Church, Beverly, a worship site of Jesus the Good Shepherd Parish; St. Joseph Church, Keyport, a worship site of Our Lady of Fatima Parish; as well as the Sisters of St. Joseph, who live and minister in the diocesan community.
