Each year, Catholic communities all over the U.S. celebrate 'Respect Life Sunday' on the first Sunday in October and continue to observe Respect Life Month throughout October.
This is an opportunity to consider more deeply why every human life is valuable and to reflect on ways in which we can build a culture that promotes life from conception to natural death. We accomplish this through education & awareness of life issues, prayer, service and political advocacy.
The US Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) assists Catholics by providing Respect Life resources for parishes, schools, youth and young adults and other ministries. This year, the USCCB asks us to reflect on how we are called to serve moms in need!
